Ik ben een jonge en ondernemende CFO met 15 jaar ervaring in management consulting en finance functies in mid-size en scale-up bedrijven. Ik combineer analytisch en strategisch denken met een sterk gevoel voor de business en de hands-on financiële en operationele ervaring van een jong snelgroeiend bedrijf.
Ik heb brede sector ervaring als consultant en diepgaande ervaring met multi-channel fashion en consumer bedrijven. Ook heb ik ervaring in het omgaan met banken, private equity investeerders en founders. Ik ben afgestudeerd in bedrijfseconomie en ben register controller (RC).
Mijn ambitie is om mijn ervaring in te zetten om zoveel mogelijk startup en scaleup bedrijven te helpen groeien, en ze te ondersteunen met hun financieele en organisatorische uitdagingen als een parttime CFO of adviseur.
Ik wil in een korte tijd en met een beperkte inzet een grote impact maken op de organisatie door inzicht te creëren, verbeteringen door te voeren en mee te denk over de bedrijfsvoering.
Bij voorkeur verbind ik me voor langere tijd aan een bedrijf als parttime CFO om een bedrijf te helpen uitbouwen maar, ik kan ook voor kortere periode ondersteuning of advies geven.
Naast CFO ben ik echtgenoot en vader van twee dochters van 4 en 7. Na te hebben gestudeerd en gewoond in Amsterdam, ben ik recent naar Noordwijk verhuisd waar, ik ervan geniet om op strand en in de duinen te zijn met vrienden en familie. Ik hou ervan veel te sporten zoals, surfen, skiën, tennissen, golfen en yoga maar, ook om wat te drinken met vrienden, te lezen en te schilderen.

CFO / Head of Finance and Operations – Rosefield Watches
March 2018 - February 2020
Rosefield is an Amsterdam based fashion watch and jewelry company founded in 2015, which has rapidly grown from an online start-up to a global brand, selling to 115 countries B2C and 45 countries B2B. Rosefield is a Scale-up company with ~24m of sales, employing ~70 people.
Started at Rosefield as CFO responsible for Finance, Legal and IT. Joined the company after three years of rapid growth, to put in place end-to-end finance processes and controls, obtain growth and working capital financing and implement management reporting, cash management and a planning and control cycle. As part of the core management team deeply involved in defining the company’s strategy and governance model (adopting the scale-up methodology of Verne Harnish) and the day-to-day management of the business.
Since June 2019 responsible for the full scope of Finance and Operations including warehousing, logistics, customer support. Focussed on increasing the efficiency, agility and quality of the sourcing, order fulfilment and customer support process.
Key achievements include: obtained incremental bank financing; implementing credit control and inventory control significantly reducing accounts receivable and inventory; put in place reliable management information, BI and daily and weekly KPI reporting to drive day-to-day business; getting strict control on cost and cash; streamlined accounting and operational processes, making process and teams scalable to the seasonal profile of the business.
Manager Business control and Reporting – Scotch & Soda

Scotch & Soda is a Dutch fashion brand, with 160 retail stores worldwide, a large B2B network and strong B2C channel. Scotch & Soda is a mid-size private equity owned company with ~340m of sales, employing ~1000 people.
As manager responsible for the companywide business control, management and shareholder reporting and financial planning and analysis, leading a team of 5 finance professionals. Joined Scotch & Soda shortly after the acquisition by SUN capital to help professionalize the finance function. Key projects deployed at Scotch & Soda include, introduction of a business review process, implementation of 12 months rolling and 3 year forecasting process and short-term cash planning, implementation of a reporting consolidation system, new strategy development, management reporting redesign, three re-financing processes and multiple acquisition of distributors and franchisees. Acted as interim Co-CFO during the period June 2015 to May 2016, responsible for all shareholder and financing matters.

As senior advisor KPMG involved in the start and development of the Cash and Working capital management services and amongst other finance projects in the delivery of cash forecasting and working capital improvement projects at companies in manufacturing, building and construction, engineering, retail, telecom and media industry. In 2010 seconded for nine months to the UK Cash and Working capital team, living and working in London.
